Now offering lessons to fit any taste, schedule and skill level.
The Student Recreation Complex offers the complete American Red Cross learn to swim program. Designed for children as young as 12 months all the way through Adult there is sure to be a lesson for you or a member of your family. Instructors are aquatics staff members who have swim lesson experience, additionally they go through an in-house training program, each instructor is encouraged to complete their WSI certification. Classes take place in all portion of the aquatic center; 50M competitive pool, diving well and Tiger Grotto your child's class location is dependent upon the skill level of the class they are registered for. If you are unsure of what level your child should be in contact the aquatics department to set up a quick in-water evaluation.
If group lessons are not your first choice you may be interested in private swim lessons, contact the aquatics department for additional information on this program.
