Martial Arts

Description

The Martial Arts studios are located along Downtown Brewer and offers a great environment for both as well as demonstration.  The demonstration room features a specialty floor mat and heavy bag.   The instructional room has plenty of room for class participants and instructors as well as mirrors along the east wall to critique your form and technique. 

Both Martial Arts rooms are the home of several Lifetime Health & Performance classes and Club Sports 

Features

• The area is kept locked throughout the day unless the space is opened by MizzouRec staff.  A request to open the space can be facilitated at the membership desk at the southeast entrance.  
• The heavy bag is located in the demonstration area and should be used with gloves in order to prevent injury.
• A custom full sized floor mat is fitted nicely throughout the area.
• Mirrors for instruction are located in the instruction side of the facility.
